The Languages department are doing an 'El Día de los Muertos' project with Bredbury Green, Greave and St Marks primaries which involves students in KS2 and year 7 learning about Mexican culture, dealing with loss and learning to speak at level 5.
This will culminate on November 2nd at Werneth School where students from our feeder primaries will visit us to make contributions to a Shrine to the dead which we are going to create. At this festival they will hold level 5 conversations in Spanish, dance salsa and celebrate the life of those that have gone before us.
