Anti-Bullying
School Council presented at a conference for all Stockport Schools in October, the strategies and actions they have been involved in to reduce bullying
and helping victims – Josh Burgess, Ryan Challinor, Jess Martin, Katherine Almond, Jake Thompson. These students, with Emily Jo Duplex, also took part in the Anti-Bullying Roadshow. It was during Anti-Bullying Week that Werneth toured 6 primary schools in the area, putting Year 6 students’ minds at rest about secondary school life;
SSAT National Conference
Steven Mount, Holly Gomersall, Kristina Rudge, Chloe Higgins and Annabelle
Knowles presented at the SSAT National Conference at the NEC, Birmingham
on the 26th November. They successfully applied for a grant and set up the
www.globalissueslessonplans.org.uk website, which allows teachers to upload
and download quality lessons for free;
