Their work is varied, exciting, demanding, responsible and vitally important. Because of these advantages many people want to work in the public services – and this is where BTEC First Public Services Diploma comes in.  BTEC is equivalent to 4 GCSEs at B grade. This course tells you what the public services are all about and it prepares you for public service work. The course will not ensure that you get into a public service – but they will get you off to a flying start by giving you knowledge and skills you need, both for public service work and for further studies.
