Student Support prides itself on their multi-layered support systems and personalised approach towards each student’s needs. We encourage open lines of communication to our parents, Werneth staff and external agencies.
Room 55 is primarily a teaching space for personal study, small group work and specialist teaching by the Learning Support Service. The room also acts as a sanctuary for our more vulnerable cohort, especially during social times.
The Student Support Team consists of one Special Needs Co-ordinator (Mrs Palmer) a team of specialist teachers delivering SEN English & Maths programmes and individual teaching sessions.
Our team of teaching assistants led by Karen Sutcliffe; continues to grow and support students and staff across the curriculum.
