Restart & Tracks

Tracks (KS4) and Restart (KS3&4) deliver targeted intervention and provision to support the 5 universal outcomes of the ECM agenda be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution, achieve economic well-being.

 

TRACKS (Training, Key Skills & Alternative Curriculum)

Tracks is a personalised curriculum at Foundation Learning  providing an option for referred  students to access a portfolio of accreditation including ASDAN COPE levels 1&2, Preparation for Working Life AQA, The Arts Award and Key Skills in Leadership.

 

All students are provided with the opportunity of accessing work based learning through extended work placements or college places for accredited vocational courses in Motor Vehicle/Cycle, Engineering, Catering, Hair & Beauty and Construction.

Students also access a programme of outdoor education including a residential activity and one activity every half term such as rock climbing, gorge walking, canoeing, mountain walking etc.

 

The department has established sustainable partnerships with key outside agencies to develop and deliver projects to improve the overall outcomes of its learners. These include Youth Services, Stockport CVS, St Johns Ambulance, Y.O.T, Stockport Continuing Education and a range or local businesses and community organisations
