Definition of Bullying:
Behaviour by one or more people which is repeated over a period of time that intentionally hurts another individual either physically or emotionally

The main types of bullying are:
Physical – hitting, pushing, pulling, kicking, taking your possessions or demanding possessions.
Verbal – name-calling, teasing, spreading rumours, being threatened;
Indirect – ignoring, excluding from friendship groups, being put down or being humiliated;
Cyber – threatening behaviour or defamatory behaviour by email, text message or on social network sites or via BBM.

We recognise that:
Some victims are also bullies;
Onlookers are condoning and are becoming part of the bullying.
