19 October 2023, 5.30pm

Dear Parent/Carer,

Introduction to GCSEs Evening

I am writing to you to invite you into school on Thursday 19th October at 5.30pm.

As a parent, navigating the GCSE path with your child can sometimes be tricky, especially if you are unsure of the key information regarding exams, revision, resources and general support. The purpose of the evening is to highlight the significant role that you play in supporting your child through their GCSEs and how you can best support them. The event will take place in our main hall and will run from 5.30-6.30pm.

Staff from English, Maths and Science will present key, valuable information, including specific ways your child can be supported. There will also be opportunities to ask questions, speak to staff, as well as see what resources are available for your child’s subjects.

The evening allows you the opportunity to come into Werneth, something that hasn’t been available too often during your child’s time at school and I hope you are able to make it.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

If you could please confirm your attendance by clicking on the link below, so I can gain an idea of numbers to expect, that would be appreciated.

Yours sincerely,
